With more than 30 years of experience in the environmental engineering industry, Paul leads the AEL team as the company Principal. Paul is a Qualified Person under O. Reg. 153/04. His extensive experience with environmental site assessment services makes him a vital part of the AEL team.

Charna a senior engineer with AEL and is also a qualified person under O. Reg. 153/04. Since 1994, Charna has been working in the environmental engineering industry and has provided engineering and project management expertise on hundreds of site investigations, remediations, and monitoring projects.

Erin provides expertise on many AEL projects, both in field and in office. Her technical experience with the regulations, and in analyzing data and creating result reports allows AEL projects to move along without delay. In addition, Erin is a Health and Safety Supervisor. Erin’s attention to detail makes her a valuable member of the AEL team.

Gavin completed his Bachelors of Science and Masters of Engineering Science, both with a focus on subsurface contaminant fate, transport and remediation. Gavin has a thorough understanding of hydrogeological processes and is experienced in the collection and interpretation of environmental data.

With a background in B.Sc in Environmental Biology and a postgraduate diploma in Environmental Control, John has a wealth of experience relevant to the environmental field. John has extensive experience in leading Phase 1 & Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessments, as well as remediation projects in northern Ontario and the GTA.

With an M.Sc. in Environmental Geoscience from the University of Waterloo, Simon brings a technical mindset and passion for environmental remediation work. As a project manager, he has been involved in all aspects of environmental site assessments from fieldwork to reporting. Simon has extensive experience in designing and conducting hydrologic testing, including analysis using industry-standard modeling software to delineate contamination and track plume movement.

Daniel is excited to spearhead AEL’s expansion into Building Condition Assessments (BCAs), which offer liability coverage for commercial site owners and operators.

Lisa’s degree in Executive Office Administration and a wealth of over 33 years of experience in accounting, customer service and sales gives her a well-rounded understanding of how to effectively and efficiently serve AEL clients. Having worked for AEL previously in a report editing role as well as some field work gives her a good understanding of the industry. Having a detail-oriented personality and someone who is interested in accuracy is also an asset to AEL clients.
